    The Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills in an order issued on Tuesday has granted permission to the President Sarbamangala Kali Mandir Durga Puja Committee, Dawki, Jowai and Daloi of Nartiang to celebrate Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja and Kali Puja on the 22nd to 26th October 2020 on 30th October, 2020 and 14th November, 2020 at Sarbamangala Kali Mandir, Dawki opposite PWD inspection Bungalow, at Shiv Mandir Premises, Jowai and Durga temple at Nartiang.

    However, the Deputy Commissioner has directed all devotees to maintain the Standard Operating Procedures as per Government order and to avoid visiting other Puja Pandals.

    Further, he has restricted the public from burning and using firecrackers or firework in public places, paths and roads during Lakshmi Puja and Diwali especially those High sound velocity crackers of firework burning of firecrackers will be allowed only till 5.00 Pm.
