BSF’s Frontier Headquarter, Umpling untagged as Containment Area

BSF’s Frontier Headquarter, Umpling have been untagged as containment area after no new COVID-19 cases were detected.

“Based on the contact tracing status and test reports of the high risk contacts in Frontier Headquarter, BSF Campus, Umpling, the containment order for Frontier Headquarter, BSF Campus, Umpling has been lifted with effect from 25th August, 2020,” the order said.

However, the District Magistrate stated that all health protocols are to be strictly complied with by the Hospital Management within Frontier Headquarter, BSF Campus, Umpling.

The District Magistrate has also lifted the containment order from Thiang Compound, Raj Compound and Hari Compound at Nongsohphoh, Upper Mawprem.
