BSF nabs Bangladeshi infiltrator in West Garo Hills

In a significant operation on October 10, alert troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya apprehended a Bangladeshi national near the India-Bangladesh border in the West Garo Hills district.

Acting on specific intelligence, vigilant troops from the 100 Bn BSF Meghalaya detained Md Rabibul Islam Robin, a resident of Sherpur district, Bangladesh.

He was intercepted near the International Border while attempting to illegally enter Indian territory. The detainee was later handed over to the Dalu Police Station for further investigation
