In a swift and successful operation, vigilant troops of the 4th Battalion, Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya, intercepted a vehicle and apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals along with an Indian driver while they were attempting to cross the international border in the East Khasi Hills district.

Acting on specific intelligence input, BSF personnel swiftly intercepted a Swift Dzire vehicle in the bordering area of Umsyiem, leading to the apprehension of the suspects. The apprehended individuals, residents of Dhaka, Bangladesh, were attempting to enter India illegally.

The seized vehicle and the apprehended individuals, including the Indian driver, have been handed over to Pynursla Police Station for further legal proceedings.

The BSF remains resolute in its mission to safeguard the nation’s borders, ensuring security and preventing any unlawful cross-border activities.
