BSF Guwahati leads patriotic ‘Tiranga Yatra’ ahead of Independence Day

The Border Security Force (BSF) Guwahati Frontier marked the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga – 2025’ campaign with a grand Tiranga Yatra on Thursday, drawing large participation from officers, jawans, and allied units.

Led by Inspector General Sukhdev Raj, the rally began at Gate No. 2 of the BSF campus in Patgaon, passed through Rani Gate and VIP Chowk, and returned to its starting point. Personnel from BSF Guwahati Frontier, Air Base Guwahati, Composite Hospital Patgaon, and the 1st Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) marched together, carrying the tricolour with enthusiasm and pride.

The event aimed to inspire patriotism, encourage citizens to hoist the national flag, and spread awareness about its significance.

BSF officials reiterated their commitment to not only guarding the nation’s borders and preventing cross-border crimes but also strengthening national unity through active participation in public outreach and nation-building initiatives.
