    The Brahmaputra Board has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for the redevelopment of infrastructure at the Brahmaputra Board Complex in Basistha, Guwahati.

    The agreement was signed on Monday at the Brahmaputra Board office in New Delhi, in the presence of key officials Dr Ranbir Singh, chairman, Brahmaputra Board; N.K. Bansal, Additional Director General, CPWD and Abhay Kumar, general manager, Brahmaputra Board.

    Dr. Ranbir Singh expressed optimism about the project, emphasizing its focus on futuristic and state-of-the-art infrastructure development. This initiative is expected to enhance the operational capacity and efficiency of the Brahmaputra Board, contributing to better management of the river and associated resources.

    The collaboration marks a significant step in modernizing critical infrastructure in Assam.
