Body of new born baby dumped in West Jaintia Hills District

A body of a new born baby was found by Meghalaya Police at the internal road of Bakur Khliehshnong under Dawki PS, West Jaintia Hills District on Tuesday morning at around 11:00 AM,

Police could not establish the identity of the parents of the baby who secretly concealed the birth of the child.

Police informed a case was registered vide Dawki PS Case No. 12(7)2024 U/s 94 BNS, 2023 and the body is kept at Ialong Civil hospital after conducting the post mortem.
