Blood for the brave: KSP hosts donation drive in support of Operation Sindoor soldiers

In a passionate show of support for Indian soldiers fighting under Operation Sindoor, the Kutumba Surakshya Parishad (KSP) organized a blood donation camp on Saturday at Nazira Natya Mandir in Sivasagar district, Assam. The initiative was taken in collaboration with Ratnagarbha Tejaswini Foundation and Sivasagar Civil Hospital.
KSP president Satya Ranjan Borah described the camp as a symbolic gesture of solidarity with the armed forces. “We consider our soldiers another form of God. They fight terrorists 24/7 so we can sleep in peace,” Borah said. He emphasized that although civilians may not be able to join the battlefield, they can still contribute meaningfully to national security efforts.
“This is just the beginning,” Borah added, stating that the blood donation campaign will expand across Assam. “While donating blood, it felt like I was directly offering something to God—it was an overwhelming and emotional experience.”
The KSP, known for its right-wing nationalist stance, has used this event to rally public sentiment in favour of national unity and defence. Borah urged all citizens to participate in “nation-building” as a moral obligation to the country that provides their identity and livelihood.
The event also had a political edge. Borah condemned ongoing terrorist activities allegedly backed by Pakistan and voiced strong support for reclaiming Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He also reignited controversy by referring to a previous ultimatum he issued to Islamic scholars, challenging them to defend the “purity of the Quran.” According to Borah, none responded, and he is now considering legal action, claiming to have sent letters to several Islamic organizations across India.
