BJP’s door always open for Mukul Sangma: Hek

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said its door is always open for the former chief minister Mukul Sangma and other members of the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC).  

“Our door is always open. We welcome Dr Mukul Sangma, the former chief minister of Meghalaya and other members of the AITC,” BJP leader and former minister AL Hek told reporters.

When asked about the fate of the AITC in Meghalaya, Hek however said, “I don’t know about the AITC whether it is good or not. That is none of my concern as it is out of my jurisdiction.”

The BJP leader further reiterated that the door of the BJP is open to members of different political parties, who are not happy with their respective parties. “We are here to work together to ensure we give the best and the clean governance to the people of the state,” he said.
