BJP holds protest against Congress corruption

Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu’s Rs 200 Crores and counting stack of cash, galvanised the BJP in Meghalaya to organize a protest in the state capital to draw people’s attention to the kind of corrupt practices that the grand old party has been indulging in.

The numerous karyakartas and morcha members who turned up at the BJP’s Shillong Office, raised slogans like ‘C- for Congress, C – for Corruption’ and ‘Down Down Congress’.

Speaking to the media, BJP Chief Spokesperson, Mariahom Kharkrang said, ‘For years these parties have been indulging in corrupt practices under the garb of promoting secularism. At BJP, we have a zero tolerance towards corruption. This is people’s money and every penny of this ill-gotten wealth must be returned to the people.”
