BJP expels 3 members for contesting against party candidates

BJP state president Ernest Mawrie on Thursday expelled three of its members for contesting against the official candidates in the just concluded Assembly elections in the state.

These include Pramod Koch (Dalu), Micheal Kharsyntiew (North Shillong) and Daniel Wahlang (Mawsynram).

Mawrie said the members have been expelled with immediate effect for working against the official candidates of the party.
