The National Cricket Academy of the BCCI has selected four outstanding women cricketers from Meghalaya to attend the North East Senior Women’s camp from 22 April to 16 May in Rangpo, Sikkim.

The four are Debasmita Dutta, Ajima Sangma, Luiza Tamang and Monica Lyngdoh Phawa.

They will join players from the other five states in the North East zone – Sikkim, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh – at the camp.

The players were selected on the basis of their performances during the 2023-24 BCCI tournaments, namely the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy in October last year and the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy held in January this year.
