    The Deputy Commissioner (Excise), West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai has permitted all bars in West Jaintia Hills District to open from 1 Pm to 8 pm subject to restrictions of the following SOP.

    Seating arrangement shall be restricted to 50% of the total seating capacity.

    Persons above 65 years of age and pregnant women shall not be allowed.

    Physical distancing of atleast 6 feet to be allowed as far as feasible.

    Adequate man power shall be deployed by Bar management for ensuring social distancing norms.

    Entrance to have mandatory hand hygiene (Sanitizers dispensers) and thermal screening provisions.

    Only asymptomatic staff and patrons shall be allowed.

    All staff and patrons to be allowed entry only if using face masks.

    Disposal menus are advised to be used.

    Instead of cloth napkins, use of good quality disposal paper napkins to be encouraged.

    Posters/Standees/AV media on preventive measures about covid-19 to be display permanently.
