Bake, craft, create – Learn new skills this season at Pt. Deen Dayal College, Wahiajer

Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Community College & Skill Development Centre, under North-Eastern Hill University, is all set to empower youth and aspiring entrepreneurs with a series of exciting skill upgradation training programmes from October 2025 to March 2026.

These hands-on courses are designed to help participants learn new skills, enhance employability, and explore opportunities across fields such as GST, pottery, bakery, beauty and wellness, tailoring, and fruit wine making.

Tentative schedule:

Workshop on Goods & Services Tax (GST) – 3 days in October 2025

Black Clay Pottery Making – 7 days in November 2025

Bakery Training – 7 days in December 2025

Beauty and Wellness – 7 days in January 2026

Tailoring – 7 days in February 2026

Fruit Wine (Non-Alcoholic) Making – 7 days in March 2026

Application process: Interested candidates can collect application forms from the College Office by presenting any School/College/University certificates, Aadhaar Card, and one passport-size photograph. Registrations are open Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, on a first-come, first-served basis.
