    In bid to quell down a chaotic scene in the village, Tuber Kmaishnong Headman Micky Lyngdoh and Sceretary IVCS Denis Lyngdoh were severely injured after they were axed by Training Phawa in Kamar Khlot, Tuberkmai Shnong village, East Jaintia Hills District on January 3.

    The matter came to light after an FIR was lodged by Chelang Lyngdoh in Ladrymbai Outpost, East Jaintia Hills District. Chehlang is the brother of the Tuber Kmaishnong Headman and also the close relative of Denis Lyngdoh.

    Chelang informed on receipt of information of a chaotic scene in the village, Tuber Kmaishnong at around 11:30 PM on January 3, the local headman and Denis Lyngdoh rushed the spot to quell down the situation.

    He alleged that out of nowhere Training Phawa, son of Ngaitmon Phawa and resident of Tuber Kmaishnong arrived in the scene on his Hyundai Creta White Colour vehicle bearing registration number ML-10-C- 5037.

    Chelang informed that Training who was armed with an axe brutally attacked his brother on his hand and the latter was severely injured. He also alleged that Training also attacked Denis on head causing heavy bleeding to him and felt unconscious. He also asserted that Training intended to murder them.

    The Tuberkmai Shnong Headman and Denis were rushied to the Civil hospital, lalong however they were shifted to Supercare Hospital, Shillong for higher treatment.
