Assistance for affected Manipuri students studying in Meghalaya

The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) issued a public notice on December 1, in pursuance to directions of the three member Committee chaired by Justice Gita Mittal (Retd.), constituted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide its order dated August 7, 2023, in SLP (Civil) Diary No. 19206 of 2023 and connected matters, Manipuri students currently pursuing education outside Manipur.

Those dependent on parents or guardians who are displaced, have properties destroyed, or are residing in relief camps are hereby informed that, in case of any difficulty regarding security, education, residence, or any other issues, they should get in touch with the below-mentioned officers/authorities/officials in the State of Meghalaya for assistance:
