Arunachal minister vows quality infrastructure for remote Arunachal: Anini projects get push for timely completion

Arunachal Pradesh Women and Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul on Monday reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to improving the living and working conditions of government employees in remote districts, emphasizing timely completion of quality infrastructure as a top development priority.
During an extensive site visit to Anini in Dibang Valley district, Pul inspected a series of key infrastructure projects, including an under-construction residential complex for government staff, and reviewed progress on multiple initiatives aimed at strengthening service delivery in the frontier region.
Accompanied by local MLA Mopi Mihu, ZPC T. Tayu, Deputy Commissioner Pagli Sora, Superintendent of Police Manish Saurya, and other senior officials, Pul toured sites such as the Panchayat Bhawan, Child Development Project Office (CDPO), a medical facility, and the District Secretariat, all in various stages of construction.
At the Panchayat Bhawan site, Pul called the facility crucial for strengthening grassroots democracy and urged officials to accelerate construction.
“This facility will enhance local self-governance and community participation,” she said.
Reviewing the CDPO office and medical infrastructure, she underscored the urgency of expanding access to child welfare and healthcare services, particularly in tribal and remote areas.
“Strengthening service delivery in health and child development is crucial for inclusive growth,” Pul noted.
Pul described the under-construction District Secretariat as a “game-changer” for Dibang Valley, saying it would centralize all key departments under one roof and vastly improve administrative efficiency.
“Such integrated infrastructure will streamline public service delivery and reflects our government’s resolve to develop frontier districts at par with the rest of the state,” she added.
The minister also made a stop at the local BJP office, interacting with party workers and praising their grassroots engagement and outreach.
She concluded her visit with a review meeting at the Circuit House, where she expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of ongoing works. Pul commended the district administration and MLA Mihu for their proactive roles in pushing development forward.
“Dibang Valley is making steady progress under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and the tireless efforts of local representatives,” Pul said. “Our focus remains on delivering lasting infrastructure that meets the needs of the people.”
