Applying for PRC in East Jaintia Hills District? Here’s what you need to know

The Deputy Commissioner East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat on Monday informed the public and candidates applying for Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) that the Certificate would be needed only for Higher Education and Training only in respect of the residents of the district if he/she has been residing continuously in the District for a period of not less than 12 (twelve) years and has decided to stay permanently in the District.
The certificate can also be applied online through the website, https://megedistrict.gov.in and the documents required to be attached with the application include EPIC/Aadhaar Card, Birth Certificate, Residential Certificate, ST Certificate, Passport Size Photograph, School& College Admit Cards, School & College Marksheets and Identity and Residential proof of parents.
