Application for Dr. Ambedkar National Award invited

Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, an autonomous organisation of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, has instituted Dr. Ambedkar National Award to be presented to women, men and institution/organisation who have made outstanding contribution to the promotion of social understanding and for upliftment of the weaker sections of India.

The award is presented by His Excellency the President of India and carries a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakhs each along with a citation.

Intending individuals from East Khasi Hills District who desire their names to be recommended to the Government for the award are to send their nominations to the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong on or before the 26th March, 2022.
