SHILLONG: With the aim of introducing the concept of synthesizers for music creation, Living Roof café Shillong is organising an exclusive talk on Modular synthesis.

Titled: Sculpt (2nd Edition) A talk on Modular Synthesis, the event will be held on the 26th of May at the Café and would feature Da Saz, a New Delhi based ‘Sufiana Electro’ group formed by Lionel Dentan and Suchet Malhotra in 1999.

The talk is focused on creating a platform to introduce newer styles of urban and traditional music. All themed around the use of synthesizers. The technology involved and the variations that these can add to the already populated digital music sphere.

“The Idea is to nurture the talents of Shillong and showcase the region’s potential in the area of music creators. With only a few people working on this music form. This is the right time.” Said Varun Sabherwal who will also be performing at the event
