Ali arrested for the stabbing incident on New Year’s Day

After a hot pursuit, the Meghalaya Police arrested Saidin Ali for stabbing Deva Kharkongor of Nongsohphoh, Shillong on New Year Day this year in Ghumti Parking Lot, Shillong Cantonment.

Police said that Ali who is 27 year old stabbed Deva a 23 year old youth with a scissor.

Deva was seriously injured in the incident and the latter is undergoing treatment in NEIGRIHMS, Shillong.
