AITC decides to field Zenith Sangma from Tura LS seat

The opposition All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) has announced the name of former Rangsakona legislator Zenith M Sangma as its candidate from the Tura parliamentary seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

“The All India Trinamool Congress under the guidance & inspiration of our Hon’ble Chairperson Smt. Mamata Banerjee is pleased to announce the name of Mr Zenith Sangma as AITC’s candidate from the Parliamentary Constituency of Tura (ST) seat in Meghalaya,” the party said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
