ADG Strat Mov Major General SS Bakshi visits NF Railway headquarters

Additional Director General of Strategic Movement (ADG SM), Integrated HQ of Ministry of Defence (Army), Major General Sarabjit Singh Bakshi interacted with North East Frontier Railway general manager Chetan Kumar Shrivastava and took stock of the ongoing railway projects in the northeastern region that has an operational impact on the deployment of troops in Northeast sector. 

Col Rissi Mohun Negi, Group Commander 22 Movement Control Group and Col GS Bajwa, Group Commander 148 Movement Control Group, briefed Major General Sarabjit Singh Bakshi, on various operational aspects related to the movement of troops and equipment in the sector at HQ 22 MC Group.

The General Officer was also briefed on the progress of ongoing rail projects.

The General Officer also called on Maj Gen RD Sharma, GOC 51 Sub Area at Narangi Military Cantt and updated him on the latest initiatives taken by DG OL & SM in Strategic Movement. 

The General Officer later visited 240 Transit Camp and 166 MC/MF Det (MCO) to check operational readiness.
