Air pollution negatively effects nature and human health. As a matter of fact, the long term effects of all the dust and smog creates a lot of problems that can be quite difficult to resolve. Let’s take a look at some of these effects that the world faces.

    1. Global Warming

Global warming worries all scientists across the globe. It happens because of the greenhouse effect that is directly associated with the methane and CO2 emission into the environment. Typically, these emissions are released by different types of industries. The only way to resolve this issue is to take social responsibility.

    2. Climate Change

Global warming resulted in a lot of consequences. One of the most common consequence is climate change. As the Earth temperature rises, it disturbs the climatic cycles as well. As a result, the north poles are going through tremendous changes. The melting of the icebergs is producing tons of water that results in flooding and elevated sea levels.

    3. Acid Rain

It’s important to keep in mind that the gases released by transport, heating, boilers, power plants and industries are quite toxic. Some of the common gases include nitrogen oxide and sulphur oxide. With the accumulation of these substances in the atmosphere and their reaction with water, the atmosphere faces an increased amount of sulphuric acid and nitric acid. The problem occurs when this solution gets mixed up with rain clouds. This results in acid rain that puts the environment at risk.

    4. Smog effect

Smog refers to a type of dark fog hovering over fields and cities. This smoke is full of pollutants. Typically, it’s of two types: photochemical and sulphurous. Both of these types are quite harmful for human health. Sulphurous smog comes from the coal industry. In many developing nations, they still have coal-based plants.

    5. Extinction of some species of animals

With the rise of sea levels, a lot of animal species find it even more difficult to survive. The current trend has forced a large number of animals to look for food in different environments. Poor soil quality and deforestation is having a huge negative impact on the habitats and ecosystems.

    6. Respiratory problems

Pollutants in the air can cause different types of allergies and illnesses, such as emphysema, cancer or asthma, to name a few. Direct inhalation of toxic agents can have a negative impact on your organs that take care of your respiratory system. If you don’t get enough oxygen, you may suffer from cardiovascular problems.

    7. Deterioration of structures

Air pollution causes the deterioration of the building materials. As a result, a lot of buildings lose their strength with the passage of time.

    8. Skin Damage

Some chemical intolerance can cause skin damage as well. In some cases, it may lead to skin cancer too.

Long story short, air pollution can cause numerous problems. If you want to keep your indoor air free of common pollutants, we suggest that you invest in a good air purifier. Hope this helps.
