  • 5678 students clear SSLC supplementary examination

    Over 5678 of 7066 students have cleared the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Supplementary examination registering a pass percentage of 80.35 percent.

    The result was declared by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) on Monday. 

    The condct of the examination went off smoothly with the cooperation of the education department, district administration, police department, heads of institutions and especially the teachers who worked tirelessly during the entire process. The concerted efforts of all concerned contributed to conduct of the examination successfully, board’s controller of examination TR Laloo said.

    The supplementary examination was last conducted in the year 1993.

    “The result of the SSLC examination 2025 both main and supplementary has been significant from other years as there is a quantum jump in the pass percentage. The reason for this is the dedication of the candidates and the introduction of the CM IMPACT Guide Book,” Laloo said.

    “The main examination pass percentage was 87.10 percent. Taking the average of both the main and supplementary examination the pass percentage for this years SSLC examination is 96.02%,” he said adding “As we make significant achievements this year, lets us look forward to the years ahead working together to secure a better future for our students through quality education.”
