500 kg of ganja seized in Ri Bhoi

The state police have seized over 500 kgs of ganja from Ri Bhoi district.

Acting on information, police of Byrnihat outpost conducted checking at the toll gate at Pahammawlein, 20^th Mile on Thursday night.

As a result, a truck (CG 04GD 3183) coming from Silchar was seized and 500 kgs of ganja was recovered, police said. The Truck was on its way to Bihar, they said.
