4th teachers unhappy due to non receiving of advance Christmas salary

The All Meghalaya 4th Teachers Association Garo Hills Unit (AM4thTAGHU) on Friday expressed unhappiness as they have not received their advance Christmas salary.

“(We) are not happy due to non receive of advance Christmas salary while other state employees have received their advance Christmas salary,” president of the association Tengsrang K Sangma said in a statement issued here.

“All over the world know this festival is important for every Christian and need to spend lots of money for family members specially for children to buy new clothes and also necessary things but this year the 4th teachers are going to celebrate without salary,” he said.
