4 more houses declared micro containment in Jowai

After the detection of COVID-19 positive cases, the District Magistrate of West Jaintia Hills on Monday has declared 4 more houses in Panaliar, Jowai as micro containment zone.

The new micro containment are namely:

House and compound of Mila Sumer.

House and compound of Ribha Sumer.

House and compound of Ne Shylla

House and compound of Ongphi Kynjing.

The order restrict unregulated entry and exit movement in the affected areas from October 12,  until further orders.

West Jaintia Hills District has 81 COVID-19 positive cases.
