30,949 new electors in Meghalaya’s electoral rolls

The Chief Electoral Officer of Meghalaya, Dr. BDR Tiwari, IAS, on Friday informed that the Final Rolls, concerning the conduct of the Special Summary Revision with the qualifying date of 01.01.2024, for all 60 Assembly Constituencies, have been duly published on 05.01.2024.

According to the press release issued by the CEO, the total number of electors in the Final Rolls is 22,17,100, indicating a net increase of 30,949 electors compared to the 21,86,151 electors at the time of the publication of the Draft Rolls on 27.10.2023.
