3 more micro containment in Shillong

The District Magistrate on Tuesday declared three more micro containment zone in Shillong and lifted the containment order in various houses.

The new micro containment namely are:

House of Smti S. Mawthoh, behind Himar Complex, Howell Road, Laban.

Top floor of the house of Mr. Biju Paul, Rilbong Burnside, near Sankardev Women’s Hostel.

Top floor of the building of Mr. Sandy Marbaniang, Oxford Hills COJC Church, near Oxford Community Hall.

The District Magistrate has also retained the Flat No.11 in “Hill Vista” Building of Mrs. Merilda Suting located at Upland Road, Laitumkhrah, Shillong as a micro containment area. 

The areas that have been unsealed:

Pavitra Joshi Compound, Lower Mawprem.

House of Persara Lyngdoh, Jaiaw Lumbatemon. 

In Lumsohriew village under Mawphlang C & RD Block, the house of Smti Oklin Kharbhih, Smti Phaitimai Kharbhih, Smti Mitimai Kharbhih, Smti Lilin Kharbhih, Smti Bibiana Kharkrang, Shri Koshon Sohlang and Shri Jopkupar Kharbhih.

Campus of Ramakrishna Mission, Sohra.

House of Robin Laloo, Block – II, Upper Lachumiere and Eee Cee Bakery & Servant’s Dormitory, Hopkinson Road, Lower Lachumiere.
