3 drug suppliers arrested

SHILLONG: Three drug suppliers were arrested along with heroin from a city hotel recently.

Acting on a tip off that some drug suppliers were staying at JK International Hotel, Police Bazar, a raid was conducted and three persons were apprehended, police said.

They have been identified as Monthan Laskar (19), Uttam Boro (20) and Nicholas Brahma (19), they said.

From their possession, four soap cases and four Golden tins filled with yellowish orange powder suspected to be heroin were recovered.

Police said during preliminary test the powder which weighed approximately 38.34 grams found to be positive.
