  • 25 students missed their board exams due to bad weather, Govt to decide on re-examination

    Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui on Tuesday said the department is seeking a report on the number of students who missed their board examinations due to bad weather conditions in the state.

    Speaking to reporters, Rymbui said that the department is aware of the report that some of the students have missed their exams yesterday because of heavy rainfall which has left many roads disconnected in the state.

    “The department will seek a report and will do what is necessary so that students will not be at a loss due to rain which plays havoc in the state of Meghalaya,” he said while informing that the department will take a decision on the matter within a day or two.

    Meanwhile, official sources informed there are as many as 25 students who have missed their board examination due to heavy rainfall on Monday.
