24 vacancies at MBOSE: Apply online before October 23

The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE), Tura, has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Lower Division Assistant Cum Computer Operator. The application process will commence on September 23, 2024, and continue until October 23, 2024.

Post Details:
The recruitment will follow the Meghalaya State Government Reservation Policy, with a total of 24 vacancies distributed as follows:

Unreserved: 2 posts
Khasi/Jaintia: 10 posts
Garo: 10 posts
Other Scheduled Tribes (OST)/Scheduled Castes (SC): 1 post
Persons with Disabilities: 1 post

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from any recognized university and have computer proficiency.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 32 years of age.

There is an upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

For persons with physical disabilities, the age relaxation is 10 years (15 years for SC/ST).

Candidates in regular government service will be eligible for age relaxation as per government rules.

The Board will only accept the date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary School Leaving Certificate. No other proof will be considered.

Application Fees:

General Candidates: Rs. 750/- + bank charges.

SC/ST/OBC Candidates: Rs. 500/- + bank charges.

The fee is to be paid online through a payment gateway during the application process.
