22 lawyers join BJP in Shillong

Twenty-Two lawyers from different parts of the state on Friday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at an event held at the state party office in Shillong.

A statement issued by the party said that the lawyers expressed confidence that only a BJP government could properly manage the law and order situation of the state.

They also placed their hope for a National Law School in Meghalaya in a BJP-led government.

They invited more members of the legal fraternity to come forward and join and support the BJP for the betterment of the state.
