200 youths participated in District Level Yuva Utsav

Altogether 200 youths participated in the one day District Level YUVA UTSAV India @2047 on Saturday at Jail Road Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Shillong.

Organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shillong under Union Ministry of Youth Affairs, the programme included Young Artist-Painting, Young Writers-Poetry, Mobile Photography, Declamation Contest and Cultural Festival

H.S.Kharpran, Mawryngkneng MLA attended the programme as Chief Guest and others present included Jibananda Pal, Principal, Shillong Jail Road Boys H.S.School, Atul J Nikam, State Director NYKS, Meghalaya, Sharmistha Dhote, RBI Office, Shillong, O.Mawthoh, DSO,East Khasi Hills District, Dr.M.Mawrie, State Tuberculosis Officer, A.Ansari, Assistant Director and Arulnidhi K, Technical Officer, Directorate Jute Development, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Kolkatta,etc.

D.Rapsang,Deputy Director,NYKS Shillong welcomed the gathering while the Programme was presided over by Kynsaibor Kharkongor, NYV, Mawryngkneng.

NHM, State Tuberculosis Office, Sports Office, DJD, M/o Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, Yuva Art & Craft exhibited their IEC material, etc.
