2 drug peddlers arrested in Shillong

Two drug peddlers have been arrested along with heroin from Shillong city. 

East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Sylvester Nongtnger said 195.84 gm of heroin was seized from the residence of one person at Demthring, Madanrting.

He said another drug peddler was also arrested near the residence and during the search conducted from his vehicle around Rs 3,28,000 was found concealed in a black polythene bag.  

Further on the leading of the accused, cash money of Rs 1,08,600 was also seized from the residence of another peddler. 

In this connection, a case has been registered and two persons have been arrested, the SP said adding investigation is on to ascertain more facts into the case.
