2 coal trucks seized, 3 arrested in EKH

Two coal laden trucks were seized at Mawiongrim area on Thursday evening.

East Khasi Hills SP, Sylvester Nongtnger said the two coal trucks (ML 04 A  8507 and ML 05 V 0089) were detected by the police of Mawlai police station from Banalari petrol pump, Mawiongrim area. Accordingly Trucks were seized. 

Two drivers identified as Mostarly Marngar and  Balaphrang Warjri and one handyman  Komal Warjri were apprehended, he said. 

A case has been registered under the appropriate section of law.
