    In the ongoing 1st Veteran Basketball Tournament, 99 Problems were humbled by Eastern Range while Lumshyiap United outplayed Mawphlang in Mens’ Category.

    Organised by East Khasi Hills Badminton Association, the two matches were played at St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong on Wednesday.

    In the first game between 99 Problems against Eastern Range for a spot in the semifinals. Eastern Range build their lead from the beginning and were victorious. Eastern Range (Wanrapborlang Laitmon 9 pts) beat 99 problems (Gavin Deingdoh 14 pts) 44-30.

    In another match, Lumshyiap United (Emerald 16 pts) beat Mawphlang (D Kurbah 8 pts).

    The Semifinals match will be played tomorrow.

    In the women’s category, SYM will play Lawsohtun Marvel and the second game will be played between Splash versus Promising SC.

    In Men’s category, Iaineh SC will play against Nongstoin Ballers, and the final game will be played between Madanriting versus Eastern Range.
