12th day of VKSA campaign held across Meghalaya

The 12th day of the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA) was conducted across 63 villages and 14 blocks in Meghalaya, engaging 6,953 participants on June 10.
Organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), the campaign aimed to boost farmers’ awareness of scientific farming practices and government schemes.
Topics included modern crop technologies, organic farming, livestock health, mushroom cultivation, soil testing, and climate-resilient agriculture. Live demos and literature on improved farming techniques and tools were provided.
Farmers also received quality seeds and arecanut saplings, along with guidance on central and state schemes such as PM-KISAN, PKVY, PMFME, and the State Organic Mission.
