11 UB inspectors promotes as DSP/Assistant Commandant of Meghalaya Police

The Meghalaya Government has promoted eleven unarmed branch inspectors of the Meghalaya Police to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police/ Assistant Commandant of various districts/battalion in the State of Meghalaya.

The eleven UB inspectors are Yograj Chettri, Mihir Sarkar, Kyrmenbha Shabong, Kennedy R. Marak, Ruffy Ch. Sangma, Karalang Hoojan, Syllad Naphang Ranee, Simseng A. Sangma, Clever D. Shira, Santosh Kumar and Balalamphang Wanswett.

Yograj Chettri, Inspector, CID, Shillong is transferred and posted as Assistant Commandant, 4th MLP Bn, Sohpian, Nongstoin.

Mihir Sarkar, Inspector, CID, Shillong, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commandant, 6th MLP Bn, Umran, Ri-Bhoi District vice Hunbok Sohtun, MPS transferred.

Kyrmenbha Shabong, Inspector, East Khasi Hills District, is transferred and posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police (City), Shillong, against the existing vacancy.

Kennedy R. Marak, Inspector, PS (Western Range), Tura, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn, Goeragre, West Garo Hills, against the existing vacancy.

 Ruffy Ch. Sangma, Inspector, North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara, is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Chokpot vice Krison R. Marak, MPS promoted.

Karalang Hoojon, Inspector, Security, Shillong, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commandant, 6 MLP Bn, Umran, Ri-Bhoi District.

Syllad Naphang Ranee, Inspector, Special Branch, East Khasi Hills District is transferred and posted as Assistant Commandant, SF-10, Mawiong.

Simseng A. Sangma, Inspector, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commandant, 1″ MLP Bn, Mawiong.

Clever D. Shira, Inspector, North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commandant, 3r MLP Bn, Sahbsein, Jowai.

Santosh Kumar, Inspector, CID, Shillong, is transferred and posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police (CCW), CID, Shillong.

Balalamphang Wanswett, Inspector, CID, Shillong, is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Pynursla, East Khasi Hills vice Kornow N. Sangma, MPS

Shivangi Goel, IPS, Assistant Commandant, 1 MLP Bn, Mawiong is transferred and posted as Assistant Commandant, 5″ MLP En, Samgong. Williamnagar vice Randha A. Sangma, MPS, transferred.

Hunbok Sohtun, MPS, Assistant Commandant, 6th MLP Bn, Umran, Ri-Bhoi District is transferred and posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti-Infiltration Directorate (AID), Shillong.
