    A three month long programme skills training programme for youths of West Jaintia Hills District got underway on Friday.

    Extra Assistant Commissioner MA Challam, MCS inaugurated the Skills Training Programme on Street Food Vending at the auditorium of Kiang Nangbah Government College, Jowai.

    Organised by Greta Solutions Training Academy in collaboration with Kiang Nangbah Government College, the programme is funded by Meghalaya State Skill Development Society.

    Initially, the training will be provided to 100 candidates free of cost to create employment and jobs. The training will commence from May 23 and the duration of the training will be for three months.

    Also present during the inauguration include Dr (Mrs) EM Blah, Principal Kiang Nangbah College, Skill Development Officer MSSDS and team of Greta Solutions Training Academy.
