    Peeved with the non payment of their salaries for past three months by the MDA Govt, ten Office Bearers of the MSSASA staged a hour long black flag sit in demonstration at Khyndailad, Shillong from 12 pm of Friday to decry the Golden Celebration of Meghalaya Statehood Day.

    The ten office bearers are protesting on behalf of the 12541 SSA teachers due to COVID protocol.

    The protest will be followed by a Candlelight Vigil from 5 Pm to 5:30 Pm in the evening at Khyndailad Shillong

    The SSA Teachers are protesting against the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance Government for non release of 3 months salary to 12541 SSA teachers in the state of Meghalaya for the month of October, November and December, 2021.

    The ten office bearers who will brave the cold wind for their cause are Aristotle C Rymbai – President Meghalaya SSA Schools Association – Central Body.

    Francis Wanniang – Vice President Meghalaya SSA Schools Association-Central Body.

    J.J.Lyngkhoi – Vice President Meghalaya SSA Schools Association-Central Body.

    Ralbingland L Nonglait – General Secretary Meghalaya SSA Schools Association – Central Body.

    Marcus Lapasam – Assistant Secretary Meghalaya SSA Schools Association-Central Body.

    Final Langbang – Finance Secretary Meghalaya SSA Schools Association-Central Body.

    Friday Rymbai – Publicity Secretary Meghalaya SSA Schools Association-Central Body.

    Sengphan Marak – Working President Meghalaya SSA Schools Association-All Garo Hills Unit.

    Tengra M. Marak – General Secretary Meghalaya SSA Schools Association-All Garo Hills Unit.

    Wiseterlyne R. Kharkongor – President Meghalaya SSA Schools Association – East Khasi Hills District Unit
