10 Km Run organised as part North East Festival

As part of the North East Festival, 2022 and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District in collaboration with the office of the District Sports Officer, East Khasi Hills District oraganised a 10 Km Run on Thursday.

The Run was opened to all ages to conquer the 10 KM route at Mawdiangdiang, Shillong.

Hepstarly Lyngkhoi won in the male category, followed by Emphuis Nongrum and Wolbetstar Ramsiej.

Lyntijingkyrmen K Jahrin came first in the female category, while Marqueenless Ramsiej came second and Claire Jone Jala Kharbhih came third.

Medari Tham was the oldest female contestant, Ksanbor Kharmawphlang – oldest male contestant, Charleen Wahlang – youngest female contestant and Sainkupar Jyrwa – youngest male contestant. MIPR
