1 Assam Battalion NCC shines with dual honours in Guwahati

The 1 Assam Battalion NCC brought double glory to the city on Wednesday, with recognition for both its cadet and the battalion itself at the Shri Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah Sports Complex, Sarusajai Stadium.

Sgt. Priya Pathak, a Juniorhm Battalion NCC was adjudged the Best Battalion in Guwahati for 2024–25. The honour, awarded for outstanding performance in training, social service, and cadet development, came with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.

The recognition marked a milestone moment for the battalion, showcasing both the exceptional achievement of Sgt. Pathak and the collective distinction of the unit.
