    As you are aware, 2nd October Marks the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri; The two Great National Leaders of our Country. In honour of these Revered National Leaders, PRIDE (Lok Sabha) is hosting a commemorative event in the Parliament on 2nd October 2023.

    This event will witness the participation of 25 youths from NYKS, with a select few may get the opportunity to speak on the remarkable contribution of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

    For the State of Meghalaya the youth will speak on the topic related with Lal Bahadur Shastri- His life lessons and legacy in Amritkaal.

    Those youths who have previously attended PRIDE’s programme such as Know your Leaders, Homage to National Leaders, or Floral Tribute to National Leaders programme at Parliament as well as those who have attended in the National Youth Parliament Festival at Central Hall, Parliament organized by the Department of Youth Affairs are not eligible to participate.

    Therefore, NYK Shillong will organize the same by screening the videos of 3 minutes on the topic related with Lal Bahadur Shastri- His life lessons and legacy in Amritkaal of each participant of all the districts of Meghalaya on the 17th September 2023 and the last date to submit the videos is on the 15th September,2023 to the following whatsapp number:
