NEHU invites applications for 4-Year BA B.Ed & B.Sc B.Ed Courses

The North Eastern Hills University (NEHU) on June 3, this year has invited admission for the four year integrated course of BA B.Ed & B.Sc B.Ed courses for the academic session 2025-26.

On eligibility for Admission, the eligibility criteria shall be grade 12 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for general students and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

The candidate will have to appear for National Common Entrance Text (NCET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) which will be scheduled for every academic year.

On the selection procedure, a merit shall be prepared on the basis of the total NCET score and weightage in the form of additional points as here under 15 points for a candidate who has passed 10-12 from any school/college in Meghalaya but is not a permanent domicile of Meghalaya. 10 points for a student who is permanent domicile of Meghalaya (supported by SC/ST Permanent Resident Certificate) and has passed 10+2 from a school college outside Meghalaya.  15 points for a student who is permanent domicile of Meghalaya (support by SC/ST or Permanent Residem Certificate) and has passed 10+2 from a school college in Meghalaya

The admission will be held as per NEHU Admission Policy NEHU Ordinance/NEHU rules & regulations. The NCET score along with the weightage will comprise of the total score in the merit list.

How to apply: Students applying for the above mentioned courses are requested to apply online on payment of Rs 800/- and Rs 400/- (for SC/ST category) and the payment will be made online using UP/Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. The last date for submission of application forms for above mentioned courses is 30 June 2025.

Candidates are requested to complete all the process of filing up the application form before the last date. Application received after the last date will not be entertained.
