Khanduli village’s is under the jurisdiction of Assam: DC Hamren

Deputy Commissioner, West Karbi Anglong Krishna Baruah asserted that Khanduli villages is under the jurisdiction of West Karbi Anglong, Assam.

She said, “As per revenue documentation and maps whatever available with the revenue officers they show that Khanduli village is under the jurisdiction of our district.”

Briefing the media person after the Joint Meeting held on Wednesday in Jowai, she said tension in border occured is third party comes up to incite people and create tension along Assam Meghalaya border.

“…people out there is very simple they don’t want any disturbance,” Baruah added.
