2 persons arrested for murder of 10-year-old boy in Umtangar

Two persons have been arrested on Thursday in connection with the murder of a 10-year-old boy at Umtangar village in Ri Bhoi District.

They have been identified as Pynshailang Warjri (32) from Umtangar village and Banshngain Tynsong (28) from Pynursla, Ri Bhoi SP Jagpal Singh Dhanoa said.

He said the duo has been sent to five days police custody to find out the motive and other co-accused involved in the crime.

The dead body of (L) Kitdorlang Marbaniang (10) was recovered from the garden of Comand Nongrang at Umtangar on February 18.
